Money Order
•	A money order is an order issued by the post office for the payment of a sum of money through the agency of the post office
•	Money order must fill in ink on a money order form
•	The amount for which a single money order may be issued must not exceed tk 5000.00
Telegraphic money orders (TMO)
•	A Telegraphic money order is a money order, the amount of which is advised by telegraph by the post office
•	The amount for which a single telegraphic money order may be issued must not exceed TK 5000.00
Value Payable inland money orders:
•	Sums recovered from the addressees of V.P articles for payment to the orders will be received from the registration and parcel clerks, accompanied in each case by a V.P money order form duly filled up by the registration or parcel clerk. The money order clerk should grant money order receipt to the clerk concerned as remitter. The amount to be recovered from the address will be the sum specified by the sender plus a fee calculated on the sum specified.
